How To Remove The Photo Mode Height Limit In Forza Horizon 6

Taking photos in Forza Horizon 6 is one of the adventure journal tasks and is constantly mentioned throughout your time in the game. However, your photo angles are very limited, with the camera height restricted to just above the car's roofline. We have the solution!

This method is entirely contained within Forza Horizon 6, meaning that you are not required to install, adapt, change or alter any files, mods or plugins. All you have to do is follow the steps in the correct order, and you will have a de-restricted camera to help you create those fantastic shots without breaking or changing any settings.

Above is a video version of this tutorial created by OverTake's Lukas Bracht, or better known to German YouTube viewers as LPN05. Check it out!

Tutorial

  1. First, head to the 'Creative Hub' section of the Forza Horizon 6 menus, then select 'Horizon Event Lab'.
  2. Following that, click the far left pink icon labelled 'Create' and then select the yellow 'New Route' button.
  3. Next, select whichever car you want to take a photo of
  4. After that, select a small prop from the menu, such as a barrel or a fence, and duplicate it so you have two next to each other.
  5. Next, select both props and select the 'Save Prefab' button.
  6. Then, take a thumbnail photo of the props and hit exit. You do NOT need to save that photo.
  7. Finally, exit out of 'Event Lab' and open the photo mode to give you free access to the entire map of Forza Horizon 6!
